| The
CP Fund Rules and Procedures is a document prepared by a task force
for the operation of CP Fund under the component No. 2 of Environment
Sector programme Support (ESPS). DKK 20 million has been allocated for
the fund. The document has been thoroughly discussed in the component
committee, Component No. 2 and also in a workshop, where all the stakeholders
were represented. Comments from thte component committee as well as from
the participants of the workshop have been incorporated. The third component
committee endorsed the document on 20 October 2000 and the Coordination
Committee meeting held on 1 November 2000 approved it. A seminar was organized
in Hetauda to brief on these rules and procedures so that the industries,
where CP activities have been carried out in HID under the component will
know about them and the industries will start to apply for the fund to
implement CP measures. Applications under these rules and procedures are
expected any day and the CP fund will be in operation. |
