As a non profit organization that aspires to be a "centre of excellence" in providing services towards the needs of the nation with regards to management & mitigation of industrial and urban environmental issues, IEM has collected relevant information on status of many industrial sectors and regions in Nepal, use of appropriate
technologies, documented the lessons learned, and disseminated them.

In partnership with institutions (governmental, NGO, private sector) and individuals in Nepal and internationally, IEM shares learning processes designed to build awareness, knowledge, and capacities. IEM seeks to provide balanced inputs to technical cooperation and to initiate sustainable development processes that empower the human resources and the target groups or clients to achieve self reliance.
